On August 9, 2026, resolution no. 189/2026 was released, amending the Value Added Tax Law with provisions relating to electronic invoicing.
The Oman Tax Authority launches the Fawtara accreditation portal
The Oman Tax Authority (OTA) has officially launched the first release of the Fawtara Portal, enabling service providers to apply for accreditation.
The Oman Tax Authority becomes a Peppol Authority
OpenPeppol has approved the application from the Oman Tax Authority (OTA) to become a Peppol Authority.
